Those who gain a deeper inside into the subject of visual sketch notes, cannot avoid using the black fineliners in graded line width. Only in this way you can reach a perfect interaction of line width for outlines, shadings and markings. To highlight our work with different colours, we have decided to use a permanent ink which a traditional German manufacturer produces exclusively for us.
Available in 4 different line widths:
- 0.1 mm
- 0.3 mm
- 0.5 mm
- 0.7 mm

great for Sketchnoting
I have bought the 0.1mm for Sketchnoting. I finally find it probably too fine, but as I like to write small it is great to add detail; however the next time I will go probably for the 0.3mm one, which will probably become my main sketchnoting marker.
The ink is a good saturated black, and does not smudge when drawing over with a fineOne art nib. However it does smudge when using something like a FABER CASTEL PITT artist pen (I tried with the yellow one), I guess because these are not water based.
It is just a pity that these are not refillable, as other wise they could become my main writing marker
