Lettering on smooth surfaces becomes super easy with the Neuland ChalkOne® in eight opaque colors. Whether plastic, glass, mirror or board surfaces – the highly pigmented chalk ink is easy to apply and can be easily removed with water and a microfiber cloth. The chalk marker is ideal for use on the Neuland Werkwand® and turns visualizations into individual, creative eye-catchers.

Unlike ordinary chalk, the use of this special chalk in the form of a marker is clean and easy: The hands don’t get dirty and you can hold the chalk like a marker safe and secure in your hand, making it easier to draw and write in different font widths.

Shake the chalk markers well before use and put on the cap after use to protect the marker tip.

Verbesserungswürdig trifft es gut

Das Pumpen der farbe ist nicht sehr einfach und wenn man nicht genau aufpasst, ist diese dann überall und verschmiert. Das Entfernen der Farbe (abwischen) klingt leichter als es tatsächlich ist.

Gut gedacht, aber verbesserungswürdig

Diese Bewertung bezieht sich auf alle bestellten Farben (weiß, gelb, orange, rot und grün). Gute Produktidee, allerdings mit zwei Handicaps. 1. Das Pumpen der Farbe in die Keilspitze ist hinderlich, "überpumpen" wird nicht verhindert, so dass gerade bei den ersten Gehversuchen, die eine oder andere graphische Idee die Kontur verliert. 2. Das "feuchte" Abwischen entpuppt sich dann doch als ein mehrfaches Nachwischen mit einem durchaus nassen Lappen, um alle Farbreste nachhaltig zu beseitigen.
Fazit: Nach meinem Dafürhalten nicht für flüchtige oder schnell veränderbare Präsentations- beziehungsweise Moderationssituationen und -inhalte geeignet. Eher statische Visualisierungen, die den Charme einer "Handarbeit" aufweisen sollen. Ich könnte mir vorstellen, dass dieses Produkt in der Gastronomie gut aufgehoben ist.

Markers & More

Can I write on paper with whiteboard makers? Can I use markers for paper on whiteboards?

Whiteboard markers bleed heavily through paper and quickly get empty. Possibly the tip also wears off quickly. Avoid writing on whiteboards with markers for paper. They possibly smear and are difficult to remove.

The Outliner is clogged. What can I do?

The outliner has a different ink composition that can cause clogging if residual ink remains in the needle or the bulb (rinse the needle with water after each use to prevent residual ink from remaining in it).

What’s the difference between the "normal black" and the Outliner?

The Outliner (color code: 010) has a special water based ink that doesn’t smear or blur when painted over with another marker. It’s particularly suitable for contours that remain clean and sharp when colored afterwards. Otherwise with the black lines of the "normal black" (color code: 100), they can quickly become blurry and dirty after subsequent coloring.

Is the BigOne also available as a WhiteboardMarker?

No. Many customers buy the empty marker and fill it with whiteboard ink (but we can’t guarantee).

What’s the shadow marker?

This means the color “grey“ (color code: 101). Mostly the Neuland BigOne® is ordered.
