Those who gain a deeper inside into the subject of visual sketch notes, cannot avoid using the black fineliners in graded line width. Only in this way you can reach a perfect interaction of line width for outlines, shadings and markings. To highlight our work with different colors, we have decided to use a permanent ink which a traditional German manufacturer produces exclusively for us.

Available in 2 different line widths:
- 0.5 mm
- 0.7 mm

CAP OFF can be left open for 18h without getting dry

Guter Stift, schmiert leider etwas

Das ist bisher mein zweitliebster Fineliner. Der Stift gewinnt im Schreibgefühl und mit der farbintensiven Tinte. Leider schmiert er, wenn man direkt hinterher mit einem Textmaker drübermalt. Man muss ein paar Sekunden warten bis er trocken ist und auch dann besonders aggresive Textmarker aus dem täglichen Gebrauch streichen.
Ich kaufe Neuland grundsätzlich wegen der Nachfüllbarkeit, was hier leider nicht gegeben ist. Vielleich kann man da an der Tinte und am Aufbau nochmal schrauben.

vielen dank für Ihr Feedback. Für unseren Neuland FineOne gibt es mittlerweile ein neues Design, welches ermöglicht, auch den FineOne nachzufüllen. Da die Tinten umweltfreundlich und wasserbasiert sind, schmieren sie, solange die Tinte noch nicht trocken ist.

My go to marker

By far my favorite marker. It has that deep black and just the right thickness to act as my best friend whenever I produce notes or sketchnotes.

Very good

I like to write in my notebook with this pen. I thought it would be thinner and I wonder if the tip will last. For now, this is my favorite to write and sketch and I can use the markers to add colors without the black going everywhere. I will order the thinner ones as well (0.1 and 0.3) to be able to write smaller.

Auch auf Holz...

Seit vielen Monaten nutze ich die verschiedenen SketchOnes, um Schablonen, Bohrlöcher und Dekorationen auf Holz zu übertragen. Da ich bereits viele andere Stifte probiert und mich enttäuscht abgewandt hatte, griff ich zum SketchOne... Wer nicht wagt, der nicht gewinnt! Und siehe da! Ein hervorragender Stift, den ich im Technikunterricht nicht mehr missen möchte. Er ist eine echte Alternative zum Brennpeter oder anderen Holzstiften, die längst nicht so fein in der Auftragung sind.
Eine Nachfüllvariante oder aber weitere Farben wären eine tolle Sache. :-)

The 0.3 works for me as a charm. Thinking about getting the 0.1 as well.
It might be interesting to have these format/sizes with an ink that doesn't get markers dirty when adding colour.
And please make them refillable!

Toller Stift zum Sketchen

Der SketchOne ist eigentlich ein Finemarker von Stabilo, der von Neuland eingekauft und unter dem Namen SketchOne verkauft wird. Im Preisvergleich habe ich festgestellt, dass der Einzelpreis des Stabilo Finemarkers nicht vom Preis des SketchOne abweicht, sodass es für mich eine sehr angenehme Sache ist, diesen Stift über Neuland beziehen zu können. Der 0.3 mm SketchOne ist für mein Favorit beim Sketchen im Buch und beim raschen Skizzieren oder Zeichnen; ich liebe seinen präzisen und sauberen Strich und den guten Tintenfluss. Ich selbst würde die ganz feinen Strichstärken von 0,05 und 0,1 mm nur für ganz feine Zeichnungen oder Details verwenden, nicht zum Schreiben oder Sketchen.

Für meine Sketchnotes ist der SketchOne 0.3 perfekt

Habe schon ein paar Sketchnote mit dem FineOne erstellt und bin bisher sehr zufrieden. Die Qualität der Füllung (Lebensdauer) und Spitze kann ich aktuell noch nicht bewerten. Allerdings ist mir beim Kolorieren meiner Sketchnotes (gezeichnet im mySketchBook) mit dem fineOne 502 (pastelgelb) aufgefallen, dass die schwarze Farbe verwischt, obwohl diese auf Papier Wasserfest ist.

All is great, but...

I'm still very upset that such a wonderful marker is not reusable.
I think you should raise the price of ink, but revise the product and allow it to be filled.
This is much easier than ordering each time markers in countries of the 3rd world.

Markers & More

Can I write on paper with whiteboard makers? Can I use markers for paper on whiteboards?

Whiteboard markers bleed heavily through paper and quickly get empty. Possibly the tip also wears off quickly. Avoid writing on whiteboards with markers for paper. They possibly smear and are difficult to remove.

The Outliner is clogged. What can I do?

The outliner has a different ink composition that can cause clogging if residual ink remains in the needle or the bulb (rinse the needle with water after each use to prevent residual ink from remaining in it).

What’s the difference between the "normal black" and the Outliner?

The Outliner (color code: 010) has a special water based ink that doesn’t smear or blur when painted over with another marker. It’s particularly suitable for contours that remain clean and sharp when colored afterwards. Otherwise with the black lines of the "normal black" (color code: 100), they can quickly become blurry and dirty after subsequent coloring.

Is the BigOne also available as a WhiteboardMarker?

No. Many customers buy the empty marker and fill it with whiteboard ink (but we can’t guarantee).

What’s the shadow marker?

This means the color “grey“ (color code: 101). Mostly the Neuland BigOne® is ordered.
